PAL Airlines (formerly Provincial Airlines) operates regional passenger and cargo services from its base at St John’s International Airport in Newfoundland and Labrador. The airline was established in 1972 as a flight training and charter operator and began scheduled services in 1980. The airline is a subsidiary of the PAL Group of Companies, which was acquired by Exchange Income Corporation (EIC) in 2015
